The Glacier Safari to the Rotmoos Glacier in the Ötztal Alps is a fascinating tour through high alpine terrain with spectacular ice formations. The diamond of the Alps shines once a week in the evening in floodlight. Every Monday, the blue slope No. 6 in Obergurgl is brightly illuminated - with 8 km an exceptionally long night skiing pleasure. Training Basic:
The right equipment is a must on the mountain, but without a sound knowledge of how to use it, you are helpless in an emergency. The Avalanche Training Basic provides you with the necessary basic knowledge. The focus is on everything to do with tour planning and correct behavior in the terrain. You will get an overview of equipment, snow and avalanche awareness and tactical assessment methods, which will help you to plan your day on the mountain safely in advance. By practicing with the latest ORTOVOX safety technology, you will learn essential rules about avalanche search and correct behavior in the event of an avalanche.

Tour and Training Basic:
At our 2-day freeride camp as part of the Ortovox Safety Academy, you will not only surf through the powder brilliantly, your mountain guide will also show you the correct and safe behavior in the terrain. You will gain more safety know-how and improve your skiing skills at the same time!

From March 20 to March 22, 2026, the WIM Hof Adventure Days will be held in Gurgl. Our certified trainers Flo Mausser & Martina Sowinz invite participants to experience the power of breathing, cold, and mental focus amidst the Tyrolean Alps. Building on the Wim Hof Method, the weekend combines breathing techniques, cold training, movement sessions, and nature experiences. Due to the altitude, the panorama, and the special energy of the location Obergurgl, the WIM Hof Days become an intense, sustainably effective experience.
