Top Quality Skiing meets racing professionals! A top-class sporting event is taking place. The winter 25/26 will be opened with a ladies' and men's slalom of the AUDI FIS Ski World Cup. The race starts on the Kirchenkar piste in Hochgurgl and finishes in the finish area at Top Mountain Crosspoint. Off the track, there is also an exclusive supporting program in Gurgl. We are very much looking forward to this event and will keep you updated via website, newsletter, and social media.

Training Basic:
The right equipment is a must on the mountain, but without a sound knowledge of how to use it, you are helpless in an emergency. The Avalanche Training Basic provides you with the necessary basic knowledge. The focus is on everything to do with tour planning and correct behavior in the terrain. You will get an overview of equipment, snow and avalanche awareness and tactical assessment methods, which will help you to plan your day on the mountain safely in advance. By practicing with the latest ORTOVOX safety technology, you will learn essential rules about avalanche search and correct behavior in the event of an avalanche.

At the Christmas stalls, regional Ötztal products, textiles, wooden art, and decorations are presented and offered.
Local delicacies, punch, and mulled wine provide delightful moments, while the musical accompaniment from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. invites you to linger comfortably.

Every Tuesday, the welcome evening takes place at Gurgl Carat.

In our 2-day freeride camp as part of the Ortovox Safety Academy, you will not only surf brilliantly through the powder, but your mountain guide will also show you the right and safe behavior in the terrain. In doing so, you will gain more safety know-how while simultaneously improving your riding skills!

Perfect introductory flight! We fly over the beautiful winter wonderland of Gurgl. Our aircraft is small, packed in a backpack, and virtually indestructible in the air due to its flexibility. We take off and land with skis or alternatively on foot, and this belongs to the intense feelings: this running on the mountain slope, taking off, floating away, having a 360° view in flight, feeling the wind, hovering during landing, lightly touching down, and rolling out. Experience this fascination with us! And the best part: you are sitting in the front row!

The diamond of the Alps shines once a week in the floodlight. Every Monday, the blue slope No. 6 in Obergurgl is brightly lit - with 8 km an exceptionally long night skiing pleasure. Enjoy an unforgettable evening under the starry sky in the middle of the Obergurgl ski area.

From March 18 - March 20, 2027, the WIM Hof Adventure Days will take place in Gurgl. Our certified trainers Flo Mausser & Martina Sowinz invite participants to experience the power of breathing, cold, and mental focus in the midst of the Tyrolean Alps. Building on the Wim Hof Method, the weekend combines breathing techniques, cold training, movement sessions, and nature experiences. The altitude, panoramic views, and the special energy of the place Obergurgl make the WIM Hof Days an intense, sustainably impactful experience.
