Training Basic:
The right equipment is a must on the mountain, but without a sound knowledge of how to use it, you are helpless in an emergency. The Avalanche Training Basic provides you with the necessary basic knowledge. The focus is on everything to do with tour planning and correct behavior in the terrain. You will get an overview of equipment, snow and avalanche awareness and tactical assessment methods, which will help you to plan your day on the mountain safely in advance. By practicing with the latest ORTOVOX safety technology, you will learn essential rules about avalanche search and correct behavior in the event of an avalanche.

Tour and Training Basic:
At our 2-day freeride camp as part of the Ortovox Safety Academy, you will not only surf through the powder brilliantly, your mountain guide will also show you the correct and safe behavior in the terrain. You will gain more safety know-how and improve your skiing skills at the same time!

Every Monday, the blue slope No. 6 in Obergurgl is brightly illuminated - with 8 km an exceptionally long night skiing pleasure.
